A mobile all-purpose high-performance battery charger with selectable rapid-charge currents of 1, 2 and 3 A for 6 to 7 NC cells, and 1 or 2 A for 4 to 7 NC cells. Cell capacity range 600 mAh to 2 Ah. Simultaneous slow charging of transmitter and receiver battery (both at 150 mA). With its ability to recharge a drive battery, a transmitter and a receiver pack simultaneously, the TURBOMAT 6 PLUS forms a universal rapid-charging centre for the 4 to 7-cell NC cell class whether your interest is in RC cars, electric model aircraft or racing boats. The mains cable can be removed completely for convenience when using the unit on-site. - Rapid-charging of 6 to 7 NC cells. - Simultaneous slow charging of the transmitter battery (4.8 … 9.6 V: 4 to 8 NC cells) and receiver battery (4.8 … 6 V: 4/5 NC cells). - Selectable rapid charge current 1 A 4 … 7 NC cells 2 A 5 … 7 NC cells 3 A 6 … 7 NC cells to suit the type of NC battery to be charged. - Electronic rapid-charge current limiting. - Automatic charge current termination using Delta-Peak method; Delta-Peak Delay system prevents premature charge cut-off. - 45-minute safety timer avoids damage if the NC pack is defective. - Automatic charge process reset circuit if charging is interrupted. - Electronic rapid-charge current suppression avoids damage if NC pack is completely flat. - Electronic transmitter charge current limiting; supplementary circuits guard against short-circuit and reverse polarity in the transmitter charge circuit. - Receiver charge current limiting; supplementary impedance protection system guards against overload and short-circuit. - Removable mains cable for convenience when using charger on-site. - Five monitor LEDs indicate ]ready state, rapid-charging, slow-charging and charging of transmitter and receiver battery You can rapid-charge your NC battery packs at any time, whether you are at home with the mains supply, or at the site with a 12 V car battery. At the same time you can trickle-charge your transmitter battery (4.8 … 9.6 V)and receiver NC battery (4.8 … 6 V).
